St. Dom’s Summer Camp 2008

Welcomes You!

Welcome to St. Dominic Regional High School’s Sixth Annual Summer Camp Program, located at 121 Gracelawn Road in Auburn. St. Dom’s is situated on 68 picturesque acres with manicured grounds and scenery that is breath-taking. St. Dom’s facilities are equipped with state of the art technologies that are unmatched in the area.

St. Dom’s is pleased to introduce this exciting camp season. The camps are designed for the beginner (ages 5-8) who is hoping to learn the fundamentals of the activity as well as toward the seasoned athlete who wants to be challenged and work towards the next level of competition (ages 8-18). Some of the traditional sport camps that we offer include: basketball, soccer, golf, baseball, cheerleading, ice hockey, and lacrosse. Some of the non-traditional sport camps that we will be offering include: arts and crafts, gym games, hiking, martial arts, computer, video gaming and amusement park camps. We are also very excited to offer our fifth year of horseback riding and our all-time favorite, extreme camp, which allows for swimming throughout the day and a choice of sports and activities to participate in; as well as two new camps: First Aid/CPR Camp, and Scrap Booking camp!

A majority of the St. Dom’s summer camp programs begin at 8:30am and end at 3:00pm with a select number of camps going until 5:00pm. The camps are designed to meet Monday through Friday (Monday – Thursday the week of July 4th), for seven (7) consecutive weeks starting June 16, 2008. Again his year we will be offering free bus transportation with counselor supervision for campers to and from six Lewiston locations: Montello School, Holy Family Parish, Pettingill School, McMahan School, Martel School and Longley School. Please remember you (or another parent or guardian) will be responsible for dropping off as well as meeting your child at the designated location. The St. Dom’s Summer Camp program will be closed on Friday July 4th in honor of Independence Day.

The St. Dom’s summer camp program is directed by Peter Servidio. Peter Servidio is a 1995 St. Dom’s graduate with over 20 years experience playing and coaching soccer, lacrosse, and ice hockey. Peter also teachers English and accounting for St. Dominic Regional High School during the academic year. Katharine McKay, one of St. Dom’s newest full-time employees, is the Assistant Camp Coordinator and works closely with Mr. Servidio to ensure the highest camp standards. Katharine has coached and played basketball, soccer, and softball. Katharine brings with her many years of camp experience which will be invaluable to the summer camp program.
The camp leaders for each camp are here because of their dedication, integrity and character that are unmatched in the summer camp business. St. Dom’s has been a powerhouse in both academics and athletics for decades. Those great leaders and athletes that have made it such are here to work and have loads of fun with your children.
