Open Gym and Final Four Party

 Saturday, April 5, 2008.  A number of old (well, let’s say familiar) faces got together at the alma mater recently for our first of many Alumni Association events.  A couple hours of basketball, some pizza and snacks, and College Basketball, made for a great combination of fun, exercise and relaxation.

The big winner for the evening was Seth Vincent (’96), who seemed to guess almost every quiz item correctly, and won a bunch of great prizes.  He knew that it was 81 degrees at game time in San Antonio, and that Chevy would have the first commercial after tip-off, and what the halftime score would be.   A great time was had by all.  Our next Alumni event will be towards the end of May.  Check back for more details, as Alumni events become more frequent.

Our Newest Alum’s – the Class of 2008

The Class of 2008 had its last formal day of high school on April 16.  They were treated to a morning of skating at the Roller Drome and a barbecue on campus before many of them headed on their Mission Mississippi trip.  They are now finishing up the year with their Involvements.  Awards night is scheduled for May 8, Baccalaureate for May 22 and Graduation on May 23.  Congratulations to the Class of 2008!  As you follow in the footsteps of those who have come before you, may you experience the best that life has to offer through our

Class of ’72 Celebrates Reunion

On April 19, nearly 50 members from the Class of 1972 gathered with their guests to embrace old (well, maybe former is better) classmates.  Held at Marco’s in Lewiston, the event was highlighted by a Contest featuring 1972 St. Dom’s Trivia, door prizes and.  Many laughs and some tears were shared as lost connections were renewed.  It was a great night for all who attended.  Mr. Roy even phoned in a special hello to the group.  A donation of more than $600 was presented to St. Dom’s for the Sister Solange Scholarship Fund.
